You may not know what you think you Know!!!
Today’s tip to connect comes from an “Ah-Ha” I had last night at an incredible networking event between two multi-day mastermind sessions with about 40 participants and guests. One of my mentors was there, who is one of the top pre-foreclosure real estate investment seminar gurus in the United States. I hadn’t seen him in about 2 years. When I asked him what he was up to, he said he had taken his seminar business and completely transformed it into an information marketing business (which means it’s all on the internet now. NO LIVE EVENTS!). And he is now working on a couple of Luxury Resort Developments.
So what’s the point? If want to add value to people, don’t assume they are still doing what they were doing 6 months ago! The average American is going to change jobs or careers 8 times in their lives (and that’s an old statistic!), so always ask what they are working on that you could help them with or you’ll be way off when you try to help!!!
