What? Another Connector?!! and he has a Book?!!

No, I don’t have a book. But I should! I recently met “The Connection Expert” (www.theconnectionexpert.com). By the way, opt in on the right and I’ll get you a free report on connecting.

His name is Michael Lauer and he lives up to his nickname! Michael can teach you how to have more referrals than you can handle and a lot more, that can assure you NEVER pick up the phone to make a “cold call”!

I knew Michael was “the real deal” as soon as we sat down, because the first fifteen minutes (if not more) of our conversation was focused on me. Michael was genuinely interested in what I was doing and how he could help. And he immediately gave me a great referral; not a name and phone number! Michael called the person, edified me, and asked permission for me to contact them.

When the conversation turned to Michael, I really had a good time hearing about his project to launch his new book, “Your Referral Goldmine” and his plans to share his message and knowledge. If you’re looking to book a great presenter with a great message, contact Michael at www.theconnectionexpert.com
Check out the video of Michael below and make sure to leave your comments. As always, you can reach the SuperKonnector, Steven Klein at steven@superkonnector.com.

The Guy who Sold over $1,000,000,000 worth of Collectible Coins…….

Mike Mezack, who sold over $1 Billion in numismatic coins (collectible coins), just launched a network marketing company selling those coins along with Chris Kent and my friend Jake Kevorkian. Although the SuperKonnector is not affiliated with the company, I think it’s a great idea and encourage you to take a look. And since I was introduced to Jake by George Chaconas of www.washingtonpartners.com , please use his name as the referrer if you have any questions (maybe he’ll give me a discount on rent when he makes a bunch of money).

Chris Kent hosted their launch celebration at his beautiful home on the water in West Chase in Tampa. I was loving it, b/c they had in attendance the who’s who of Tampa, so I was connecting like crazy. Timing is everything, so take a look at the video of Jake and Chris talking about the company and the opportunity. This is Day 2 of Numis Network. After watching the video, visit www.numisnetwork.com and enter George Chaconas as your referrer should you have any questions. His direct number is 813-245-2535 and email is gcchaconas@aol.com .

PS – remember SuperKonnector is not involved in Numis Network but will always promote good opportunities, values, connections, etc.. Timing beats Talent any day!

Finding Your Niche and Pursuing Your Passion!!!!

This is Steven Klein, the SuperKonnector. This morning, I did the unthinkable! I accidentally deleted one of the best videos I’ve ever shot! I’ll just have to get my “subjects” together again and shoot another one. Lesson: Back up your video online before you start playing with the pictures on your digital camera! Lesson 2: shoot 2 clips instead of one (it only took us about 20 sec and 1 take!)

Today’s clip is of my good friend JT Tapias and his grandfather Claude. Our topic is finding your niche and pursuing your passion. I’ve done my best to introduce JT to a lot of people in the seminar industry to help him pursue his dreams. Connecting is all about Service and follow up, helping people get what they want! Since health and fitness are important values to me, I love helping people like JT, especially since he is a Class Act!

If anyone should have been a personal trainer, it’s JT! JT’s family gene pool for musculature is unbelievable! After a tragic injury ended an incredible professional soccer career, JT got into personal training along with a couple of other businesses. His grandfather, Claude was a professional body builder and still looks great in his mid 80′s!

JT recently decided to transition into professional speaking, and gratefully introduced him to some people that are helping him ramp up that career quickly. JT has helped me with my workout routine and occassionally “kicks my butt” at his Sat morning bootcamp. Here’s a video to introduce you to JT and his grandfather Claude.

PS – If you help people get what they want, you’ll get what you want!
PSS – If you have trouble with snoring, sleep apnea, back pain, acid reflux, check out this website www.atlastpillow.com and refer me to your ear nose, and throat doc, your chiropractor, your gasrointerologist, your orthopedic surgeon, or your dentist and YOU MAY BE ABLE TO GET ONE FOR FREE since it is covered by medical insurance!!!!!

Connect with Connectors!!! You find it hard to believe, but the SuperKonnector is not very tied into “the scene” in Tampa. Because I’m not, I made sure to connect with at least a few people who are. Since I didn’t ask all of them their permission to listed here, I’ll only mention 1, because he is “all about it”!

So let’s have some fun. Last Sat I made it out to the www.13uglymen.com Charity Party poolside at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino to benefit PROCEEDS TO BENEFIT THE ACADEMIES, INC. www.theacademies.us
I had a great time and ran into my friend “The John Xd”, owner and operator of www.24sevenmagazine.com.

Check us out at the entrance of Floyd’s at the Hard Rock for the after party and meet the John XD!
PS – even if it’s not your scene, get out and meet people in all different niches. Expand your horizon and make contacts that will help you help others and help yourself! and Have Fun!!!!

It’s gonna Blow!!!

You’re going to see some interesting things along your journey through life! Some things will jump out at you; others won’t. If you want to get the most from connecting, you’ve got to be aware of all the magical things that are happening around you that could help you in your quest!!!

Last Wed I was putting out signs for my Bank Owned real estate wholesaling business until 3:15am. On our way back home, we came across a really interesting happening!

There were police and a fire-engine blocking off the right lane on W Platt St because a Transformer was on fire and shooting sparks everywhere (unfortunately my business partner Denny got locked onto the transformer so you can’t see the police car or fire-engine). In pitch black darkness this was a brilliant sight, and we made it through safely! Enjoy the video and remember to notice all the cool stuff on your journey through life!

SuperKonnector Serendipity example: George Chaconas

Here is a great example of being open and aware of helping people in any way that you can.
I moved to Tampa in Feb 2007. I asked for referrals for office space and Casey Connors (who I haven’t seen or spoken to since March 2007) introduced me to George Chaconas. I didn’t want to lease a room in his building, but we became friends.

George is a great guy and partner in www.Washington Partners.com which buys and sells businesses. He is also the father of a beautiful 3 month old baby. George introduced me to Juan Pardo who is now his protege. Watch the video for the rest of the story, but from a referral for office space, I found 2 friends, and 1 is my now my landlord. You never know! (You’ll have to excuse any foul language on the video. they are not paid actors and didn’t know this was going on a blog. this is authentic and genuine footage!) Enjoy!

PS – Remember to get to know people, not just what they do!
PSS – If you know anyone who wants to buy or sell their business, let me know and I’ll connect them with Juan or George.

Happy Mother’s Day!!!! Cool Connecting!

Happy Mother’s Day!!!
Today’s entry is a special Mother’s Day video dedicated to my mother Deysy Klein. My mom was born in Cuba and left before Castro took over. She’s somehow passed the English equivalency exam for residency after medical school here in the United States without ever taking an English Class in a very short time!!! My mother had a very successful career as a doctor in Charlotte NC and did everything she could to provide me and my brother and sister and great life!

Even though I have not fulfilled my desire to “give back” to my mother during her retirment, I was able to take her back to Cuba LEGALLY a couple of years ago for the first time in 49 years!!! That said, what you’re about to see would have been a lot more fun if it ran in Cuba so my family there could see it, but Castro (whichever one is in power now) wouldn’t go for that! Happy Mother’s Day mom! Have a great day!

You never know what meeting someone will lead to! I don’t know about you, but I would love to be an actor on TV or in a movie or even a TV commercial, but not so much that I actively pursue it. Well, last April I was working out in the gym when this woman randomly asked me if I speak Spanish. I told her that although I wasn’t fluent, I could get by.

She asked me if I’d like to be in a Spanish TV commercial and I said YES! She had a contact who needed someone to fill in on a commercial, so she referred me. Look at what that lead to! How funny is this and how great is it that I have this to show people when they need a good laugh?!

PS – I love you mom!!
PSS – You probably won’t see me in a lot more commercials! They cut almost all my lines because they said I have a GRINGO accent!

Persistence and Tenacity!

In connecting, I hear from people all the time how they admire me for my persistence and tenacity in following up. The only people who get upset when people continuosly follow up are people afraid to “be straight” with people or that they may hurt their feelings. If they only knew how self-centered that was, everyone would get things done much quicker. You can separate yourself from 99% of the population just by Doing what you Said you were going to Do!

Persistence and Tenacity are crucial for success in anything! How you one thing is how you do everything!

Check out this clip from Wed night (Part III of IV) to laugh and get an idea of how persistent and tenacious I can be AND STILL HAVE FUN!!!

Ha Ha Ha! That video will be posted again!! and again on Facebook! comment on it!
PS – Never Give Up unless you are attempted something that isn’t in your best interests! If you’re attempting something ridiculous that is just plain wrong to do, I just hope you have good friends who tackle you put you in a rubber padded room for couple of days!!!! Steven Klein, SuperKonnector.

SuperKonnector Serendipity! Check this Out!

May 8, 2009 by superkonnector · Leave a Comment

A lot of Connecting or Networking success comes from being aware of what’s going on around you all the time. That greatly increases the chances of Serendipity, which is really magical! Actually, serendipity isn’t magical at all; just feels like it. Wait until you see today’s video!

The dictionary defines serendipity as the faculty of making happy CHANCE finds. It comes from a fairy tale written in the year 1754 called “The Three Princes of Serendip” whose heroes were always making discoveries, by accident and sagacity, of things tey were not in quest of”. So here’s a great one!

Last Friday, a really good friend of mine, Stephanie Kailos, was visiting from Charleston SC. I picked her up at the train station at about 6pm and we went to Walter Groteke’s reception following the most successful Home Shopping Network product debut in 3 years www.atlastpillow.com, then went to First Friday in St Pete. Here’s where the Serendipity starts. Stephanie had received a couple of calls from another good friend of hers from Raleigh, who happened to be here also, and they hadn’t seen each othe r in awhile either.

So at 1 am I drove Stephanie to pick up Stephen and we went over to the Dubliner in Tampa together until about 2:30am. Stephen invited to go out on a boat the following morning. And now for that magical serendipity I’ll summarize in the following video.

Stephanie and I show up at the place where Stephen is staying in Tampa at the time, the home of Jack Glasure who runs a PR company out of Raleigh NC, but he moved back to Tampa and is opening an office here. When we pull up, I see Jamie West who Jack invited out with us. I KNOW JAMIE. I asked how Jamie met Jack, and she said through Aakash Patel, who is one of my good friends. So Stephanie comes in from Charleston and introduces me to her friend Stephen (who has already become a friend) who was staying with a really good guy who is also very influential in Tampa who had my friend Jamie over who she met through my friend Aakash Patel!

And tonight I’m going to Jack’s open house along with the Benz Model and Talent Agency (one of his clients) for the opening of “French / West / Vaughan” voted the best PR firm in the Southeast which I wouldn’t even have known about had my friend Stephanie from Charleston not come to visit or if we would have “blown Stephen off” on Friday night. Stephen is now actively looking for a house in the Hyde Park or Palma Ceia area, so if you know of any great deals under $500k for a great house, get in touch! Anway, watch the video from last Sat and if you have any PR needs, look up French/West/Vaughan!  SERENDIPITY!

To be Successful Connecting, always look for the best qualities in people. Even the shadiest characters are usually one 1 person away from a great person, even if it’s their enemy! Be aware of that and meet those people!

PS – the late Charlie Jones said, “You’ll be in 5 years the books you read and the people you meet”. Have a great day! It’s Friday!
